HGTV's Christina on the Coast Season 1 left us obsessed not just with the stunning transformations, but also Christina's romance with husband Ant Anstead. Luckily, HGTV brought the series back for season 2. If you loved the first installment of episodes, get ready. Season 2 treats us to 13 amazing new home renos, as well as some behind-the-scenes moments from Christina Anstead's pregnancy. Yup, the hustle never stops, and we'll get to see some special moments leading up to the birth of Hudson London in September 2019.

Here's everything you need to know about Season 2 of the hit HGTV show.

When will Season 2 of Christina on the Coast premiere?

With more than 12 million viewers tuning in to watch Season 1 of Christina's solo-show, it's no surprise she'll be coming back to continue renovating homes with her unique vision. The first episode of Season 2 titled 'Farmhouse Functional' will air on HGTV on January 3, 2020 at 9 pm. In this episode, you'll meet Travis and Jamie. Travis wants their space to resemble that of a firehouse, while Jamie is opting for clean and white.

The 36-year-old shared her excitement on Instagram: "So BEYOND excited to announce that Christina On The Coast has been picked up for a second season!!!...Thank you @hgtv for the opportunity- and to all of you for your support- so grateful!!"

"The new season will spotlight Christina’s custom SoCal-inspired designs for clients, as well as her personal journey with her new husband Ant Anstead, their blended family and their first baby together," a press release read.

Before the announcement was made, the mother of two had already been hinting on social media about her new COTC projects—it looks like she'll be giving the Newport Beach Firehouse a makeover!

What will Christina on The Coast Season 2 be about?

After the tumultuous ride of Season 1 that followed Christina's crazy search for her dream home, along with following her whirlwind romance with Ant (ending in their adorable marriage!), Season 2 follow her next big life step: her pregnancy.

"In season two, we will join Christina as she grows her design business and navigates relationships with her friends and family, including her husband and new baby," said Jane Latman, HGTV president. "Everyone is rooting for her and her family as they build a whole new life.”

In Season 1, we didn't know the HGTV star was pregnant, since the season finale ended at Christina and Ant's backyard wedding. Season 2 will most certainly be filled with nursery designing, pregnancy health, and nutrition with her friend Cara Clark. Plus, the gender reveal (that Christina's ex-husband Tarek El Moussa accidentally ruined, whoops), and much more about how the rest of their family reacted to the news. You can watch a trailer of Season 2 below.

Will Christina Anstead give birth during Christina on The Coast Season 2?

Unfortunately not. The pregnant designer posted an Instagram photo in July 2019 of her growing baby bump with a caption explaining that she's almost ready for maternity leave. That means no working, no filming, and definitely not letting strangers pry into her special time with her family. We believe that majority of season 2 had been filmed before that. However, Christina did surprise fans by coming out of maternity leave at 37 weeks to take on one last special reno. She posted to Instagram about a "BIG project in Laguna Niguel" explaining that she "can't resist a good challenge" on August 22, 2019. As we know, Christina Anstead gave birth to son Hudson London on September 6, 2019. While we're certain Christina wrapped up her special project before September (she posted a photo on August 24 reading poolside), expect to see a very pregnant Christina Anstead continuing to working her design magic on air, two weeks before she's due.
