If you like rappers with a soft side, then TikTok star Andre Swilley was basically made for your feed. His posts are all about making people laugh and having a good time. The TikTok star never takes things too seriously and is a pro at bushing off the not-so-nice comments from his haters. Now, he's branching out from his music into the acting world. Here's everything you need to know about Andre Swilley.

He's a Taurus

Andre D'Armond Swilley was born on May 16, 1998.

His name gets mispronounced all the time

In his first Q&A video, Andre said that people get his last name wrong all the time. But it's actually pretty easy to say if you look at the spelling. It's "SWIL-LEY." If you can sound it out, you can say it. FYI: his name is not Andre's Willey.

He's lived all over the country

He started out on Vine but got his fame on Musical.ly

Andre has millions of followers on TikTok now, but in his Famous Birthdays Q&A, he mentions he got his start on Vine. Then, in a Q&A he posted on YouTube, he said he joined Musical.ly in the summer of 2015. Now, on TikTok, he posts dancing videos and comedy skits.

He joined Musical.ly because of a girl

Andre told Famous Birthdays he only joined Musical.ly because he saw a cute girl on the app. He doesn't say who she is, but after he saw her, he started to scroll through the app and saw that he actually liked it. So he joined himself. "I was like, 'What is she on?' So I got on the app, and I saw that like, it was actually pretty cool and nobody was on it yet. Baby Ariel had like, 10,000 followers at the time, so I was like, 'maybe something could happen on here.' So I did it, and here we are."

He's getting into the music industry

Andre's rapping and singing always have an upbeat modern pop sound. He posted his first music video for his single "Pistol" on YouTube in September of 2019. He's also a member of a group called Cookie Cutters that writes and produces music. He singer was supposed to go on tour in the summer of 2020 as a part of the Boys of Summer Tour, but all they dates have been pushed to early 2021.

He's obsessed with Billie Eilish too

It seems like Andre has been a Billie stan for a while. In that same Famous Birthdays Q&A, Andre said he would love to collab with her saying, "I'm obsessed with her right now," and "I love her voice."

He's wanted to be an actor for years

In his My First Time video, the star mentioned that he used to make movies with friends on a flip phone, but now, Andre has upgraded his acting game. His IMDb page says he plays a character named Marcus and is cast along fellow TikTok stars like Dixie D'Amelio and Griffin Johnson in Attaway General and he plays the same role on the show Crazy Fast.

He once dated a fan

In his Q&A with Famous Birthdays, Andre was asked if he'd ever date a fan. He said he was open to it and surprise, he has! He didn't go into much detail, but he did say, "It really didn't work out well."

He dated a fellow TikTok star

Andre and Gabby Morrison started dating in 2019. In their first YouTube video together, Andre said they met at a convention for social media influencers called PlayList Live, and their first kiss was in front of fans. She's a TikTok star herself with close to 4 million followers on the platform.

They were going to move in together

Gabby posted a TikTok in June 2020 captioned, "Apartment shopping w/ bae," and the couple looked extra cute while checking out a new place. Although there was no mention of the couple actually moving in together, Andre also posted an apartment hunting TikTok with a caption that says, "ill keep you guys updated on what we pick soon."

They have a reality show on Snapchat

Both Andre and Gabby star in season 4 of Snapchat's Endless, a reality show that documents the ups and downs of their relationship. Andre and Gabby only appear in the show's latest season — it was formerly known as Endless Summer, which originally followed the relationship between Summer McKeen and fellow social media influencer Dylan Jordan.

He's no longer in a relationship

In a June 2021 life update/Q&A video posted to her YouTube channel, Gabby revealed that she and Andre are no longer together. She begins talking about the breakup around the 7-minute mark before she dives into other life updates.

"We broke up for lots of reasons," she said, her voice breaking. "We didn't break up because of what happened on [Endless]...you haven't seen the whole of our relationship, so please don't make any assumptions about what happened, what went wrong, who was wrong...because it is not that."

The breakup came after they dated for two years and lived together for seven months.
