Yellowstone Will Return in the Summer

Cancel your Sunday night plans, because your evening officially belongs to the Duttons. Yellowstone, the modern western drama that has catapulted to phenom status in recent years, is almost halfway through its fifth season. Centered on the Dutton family—owners and operators of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States—as they fight outside forces and each other to retain control of their land, the show has become a must-watch; in fact, over 10 million people tuned in for the season premiere this fall.
There are a few differences this season from years past; not the least of which, the fact that it's going to be super-sized. Rather than its usual 10 episode run, for season five, the show is beefing things up with an extra four episodes, and splitting the season into two installments. The first 7 episodes premiered in 2022, with one week off for Christmas; the 8th episode, serving as a mid-season finale, will debut on New Year's Day. The remaining 6 episodes of the season will arrive later in 2023, though Paramount has yet to officially announce the dates for when those episodes will premiere.
If you want to keep up with the latest episodes of Yellowstone, you'll have to head to cable, or the cord-cutting service Philo. Unlike its prequels, 1883, and 1923, both of which air on the streaming service Paramount+, Yellowstone exclusively appears on Paramount Network, with concurrent airings on TV Land, CMT, and Pop. After the conclusion of the season, it's expected to be available to stream on Peacock, like the first four seasons, though no date has been announced for when the latest season will hit the streamer.
