BTS made history at the Billboard Music Awards tonight. The boys won Top Duo/Group award, beating out Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, and Panic! At The Disco. It was their first time ever nominated for the category. They also won Top Social Artist for the third year in a row, which recognized the power of their fan base.

V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM, and J-Hope all took the stage to accept the honor, where RM thanked the fans in his acceptance speech.

"Thank you, ARMY. Still can’t believe we’re here on this stage with so many great artists, oh my god," he started. "ARMY, this is only possible because of the little things we shared together. The BTS and ARMY power, right? And we’re still the same boys from six years ago. We still have the same dreams. We still have the same feelings; we still have the same thoughts. So let’s keep dreaming the best dreams together. Thank you. I love you all."

The boys arrived earlier on the red carpet, dressed in Alexander McQueen and the friendship bracelets Halsey gave them. V told E! that the boys considered their Billboard Music Awards nomination to be a "precious" moment. "We’re so happy we can be a part of this with our fans," V said. And Halsey, during her own separate red carpet interview, discussed her friendship with the boys and their collaboration "Boys With Luv".

"I think a lot of people are really curious about the collaboration because obviously the boys are from Korea and I'm from the States, but I think that we really show that despite what seems like a language barrier at first is really just kind of like unimportant when it comes down to a bunch of young people who really love music and who just love hanging out, and it really shows through," she said.

The boys and Halsey are performing "Boy With Luv" with her at the show. It will be their first time doing the single live with her.
