After the wild success of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is finally coming to a television near you. The cinematic limited series debuted its first episode March 19 on Disney+, with a new episode to follow every Friday. The finale airs April 23.

Like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier takes place in a post-blip world after the events of Avengers: Endgame. As seen in Endgame, Steve Rogers—aka Captain America—passed his mighty shield to Sam Wilson, otherwise known as Falcon (Anthony Mackie), implying he would become Cap’s successor. The final trailer ahead of the series premiere teased Sam and Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) training with the shield and reckoning with the legacy Captain America left behind. The odd duo must put their differences aside and team up to save the world—without the help of the hero who brought them together.

So, when will we get the latest installment of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? The newest episode in the six-part series will premiere every Friday at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT on Disney+. Here’s what the release schedule looks like:

Episode 1: “New World Order” streaming as of March 19.

Episode 2: “The Star-Spangled Man” streaming as of March 26

Episode 3: “Power Broker” streaming as of April 2

Episode 4: Streaming April 9

Episode 5: Streaming April 16

Episode 6: Streaming April 23

During a pre-premiere press conference, the creators and cast explained how the show would differ from WandaVision. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige teased the series premiere starts with “the best action that we've ever seen… It was really an opportunity to go deep.” Mackie told Variety that shooting the series was unlike any TV show ever made: “Everybody who had worked on TV before was like, ‘I’ve never worked on a TV show like this.’ The way in which we were shooting, it feels exactly like we were shooting the movie cut up into the show. So instead of a two-hour movie, a six or eight-hour movie.”

Feige discussed with Variety the importance of Falcon as a Black superhero within the MCU, particularly the significance of him taking on Cap’s shield: “What does it really mean for somebody to step into those shoes? And not just somebody, but a Black man in the present day. That’s what Mackie and our head writer Malcom Spellman and all of us didn’t want to shy away from,” Feige said. “All along we’ve been asking, ‘Where did he grow up? Who is his family?’ We want to know more about this guy being thrown into this situation and handling it spectacularly well considering he’s just a man. That’s what the show is about. This man, this Black man in particular, in the Marvel version of the world outside our window.”
