MCU bromancers Robert Downey Jr and Tom Holland feature in a new deepfake Back to the Future video on YouTube.

Despite Avengers: Endgame's devastating conclusion, this gives Marvel enthusiasts another bit of RDJ and Holland onscreen magic (even if it's synthetic), after appearing together in four blockbusters and striking up some real chemistry.

In the video, RDJ's face takes over that of Christopher Lloyd's Doc Brown, while Holland steps into the shoes of Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly.

Lasting just one minute 26 seconds, user EZRyderX47's deepfake effort has acquired 2.7 million views in just a matter of days (it was uploaded on February 14).

And no wonder, it's completely uncanny seeing RDJ and Holland superimposed here.

Straight down the comment section, fans are losing their minds over this footage.

"And just like that, I can't believe anything I see ever again," wrote one person, while another responded: "I'm shook..I'm shocked..I'm buying into the reality that this was filmed by Tom Holland and RDJ in their free time while filming endgame [sic]."

In a culture that's totally obsessed with remakes and reboots, maybe this could spawn the next one?

Avengers: Endgame is out now on DVD, Blu-ray, 3D, 4K and digital download.
