Henry Winkler made Barry fans everywhere very happy with his new post on social media.

The 76-year-old actor, who has a prolific comedy career that includes roles in Happy Days, The Waterboy, Arrested Development, and more, released a photo with costar and show co-creator Bill Hader on the set of Barry Season 4.

The new photo is captioned, "⁦@hbo_barry⁩ FRIST DAY. Season 4," and shows Winkler and Hader smiling on a home set for the show.

While Winkler looks in character, Hader is wearing casual clothing and has headphones around his neck, indicating that he is probably working as a director for the episode.

Along with creating and starring in the show, the Saturday Night Live star has also directed and wrote multiple episodes.

Many fans were ecstatic to hear that they started shooting the new season, with one viewer saying, "I am SO EXCITED to see this! Barry is one of the best shows I've ever seen. The performances, the writing... all so good. I very much appreciate the entire cast and crew of this marvelous show."

Overall, fans were very appreciative of the behind the scenes photo, with one fan replying, "this photo has made my day!!! hope you have a great first day of filming," while also sending well wishes all the way from Australia.

Hader stars in Barry as Barry Berkman, a hitman who wants to quit his career and start acting, while Winkler plays Gene Cousineau, Barry's acting teacher.

Barry is an amalgam of a show, combining intense action and dark themes alongside great humor.

The show finished airing Season 3 in June of this year, but fans are already eager for any and all updates on the upcoming fourth season.

Season 3 ended on quite the cliffhanger, particularly in regards to the relationship between Barry and Gene.

Luckily, fans already knew that Barry would return, as Deadline reported in May—while the HBO show was still airing—that it was renewed for Season 4. HBO also revealed that Hader would be directing all eight new episodes.

Throughout the first three seasons of Barry, Hader directed 10 episodes and wrote nine.
