Henry Winkler and Ron Howard Just Had a 'Happy Days' Reunion at the Emmys
Harry Winkler just won his first-ever Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Gene Cousineau in HBO's Barry at the 70th annual Emmy Awards.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it was his sixth nomination ever. He was previously nominated for The Practice and his iconic role of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli on Happy Days.
Winkler never actually snagged a win as Fonzie, but he finally got a Happy Days moment at the award show when he caught up with his former cast mate, Ron Howard, who played Richie Cunningham, Monday night.

Howard wasn't nominated for any awards, but he has won Emmys in the past for his production work on Curious George, From the Earth to the Moon, and Arrested Development.
In a 2015 interview with Variety, Winkler spoke warmly of Howard and it's clear that the although it's bee 40 years since Happy Days wrapped, time hasn't dulled their friendship. In the article, Winkler called his friend "an amazing fellow," who is "incredibly perceptive." "I love him," he added.
