It's easy to ponder over the use of awards shows when the COVID-19 pandemic has essentially reduced the usually glamorous events to nothing more than exorbitant Zoom meetings. Yet, Harry Styles (wearing nothing but leather and a fuzzy mint-colored scarf) has just generously reminded us that awards ceremonies are not yet obsolete.

For his Grammys debut, the singer, who is nominated tonight in the categories of Pop Solo Performance, Pop Vocal Album, and Music Video, performed a heart-stopping rendition of his hit single "Watermelon Sugar." I use heart-stopping literally, as I fear that both I and Billie Eilish (who gazed adoringly from the sidelines) didn't exhale once during the three-minute performance. Who could, with his tattooed chest making a yummy cameo underneath a custom Gucci leather blazer and a long green boa? As Styles sauntered across the stage, gyrating his leather-clad hips in sync with his backup singers, with all the swagger and grace expected of a first-time Grammy nominee?

I wasn't the only one immediately sucked into the Styles thirst trap. Below, Twitter wipes the drool off its chin to chime in.

Styles has been busy lately. When he's not inducing the rabid jealousy of straight women everywhere by flaunting PDA with girlfriend Olivia Wilde across Los Angeles, he has been shaping up to be one of Hollywood's newest leading men. Styles is set to star in Don't Worry Darling, a psychological thriller directed by Wilde, alongside Florence Pugh and Chris Pine. He also landed a role in My Policeman, an Amazon film adaptation that will also star The Crown's Emma Corrin.
