If you’re looking for somewhere special to dine for Mother’s Day this year, there is no shortage of restaurants in the Pensacola area to help celebrate.

Whether you have your mind set on a spot with a prime rib carving station, a seat outside or free bottomless champagne for mom - here are some brunches, lunches and dinners you're not going to want to miss. All events listed take place on Mother's Day on May 12 unless noted otherwise.

In addition to their regular menu, BarSteak will be offering a free Mother’s Day special for moms from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. of macerated strawberries with lemon whipped ricotta, fresh basil and balsamic syrup to accompany a complementary glass of champagne.

Hilton Pensacola Beach

Pensacola's Hilton is hosting a special Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Adults are $75 per person plus tax, children ages 6 to 12 are $25 plus tax, and children 5 and under are free. Parties of six or more are subject to a 24% gratuity.

All mothers will receive a complimentary single flower upon arrival, a glass of champagne or mimosa, photos with mom at 360 Photobooth and live music in the foyer that will be broadcasted into the ballroom. Call 850-343-6791 to make your reservation The buffet menu includes:

  • Omelet station: Customize your eggs with a variety of toppings including ham, jalapeños, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese.

  • Breakfast bar: Bacon, Conecuh sausage, French toast, biscuits and gravy, frittatas and pastries.

  • Charcuterie station: Assorted meats, cheeses, fruit platters, olives and featured dips from Salt - hummus, tzatziki, crazy feta − served with pita bread.

  • Salads: Caesar, mixed greens and strawberry arugula salads, fruit platter and rolls.

  • Chilled seafood station: Peel and eat shrimp and shrimp pasta salad.

Scenic Hills Country Club will be offering a Mother’s Day brunch open to the public, but reservations are required. The brunch will span from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at $45 per adult, $20 per child 12 and under and free for children 5 and under. Scenic Hill's member discount does apply.   • Continental: Artisanal cheese and charcuterie display, Scenic Salad with assorted dressings, summer pasta salad, assorted fresh melon, peel and eat shrimp with cocktail sauce, assorted pastries, muffins and fruit and granola parfait cups.

  • Top of the Mornin': Local stone ground grits, andouille sausage links, breakfast potatoes with sauteed peppers and onions, applewood smoked bacon, buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, assorted mini quiche, scrambled eggs and pancakes with syrup.

  • Carving Station: Rolls and cornbread muffins with butter, bourbon glazed ham carving station, slow roasted prime rib carving station with au jus and horseradish cream.

  • Prime rib station: Herb-crusted prime rib roast, au jus and creamy horseradish sauce, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable medley.

  • Cold seafood bar: Freshly shucked oysters on the half shell, chilled jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, smoked salmon platter with capers, red onions and lemon wedges.

The Agapi Mother’s Day menu is as follows:

  • Appetizers: Baked brie, spanakopita skillet, Mediterranean trio, oysters, chargrilled octopus and house breads.

  • Mains: Bayou crab benedict, lobster benedict, The Benny Sampler, galette, Grouper Margarita, Gulf Scamp Cervantes, Southern Chicken Saltimbocca, kafta, Herb and Lemon Marinade Lamb Chops, chargrilled CAB filet and a kids brunch menu for those 12 and under.

  • Smoked Salmon and Fried Green Tomato Benni: English muffin, cold smoked salmon, poached eggs, Oscar sauce and brunch potatoes.

Maker’s Café & Espresso Bar

Maker’s Café & Espresso Bar has crafted a special Mother’s Day Gift Bundle that includes the essentials: a bouquet of flowers and a bottled honey latte with choice of milk. Lattes can be enjoyed for up to four days. Each bundle is $35 and can be customized with a $15 or $25 Maker’s gift card. Pick-up for the bundles is 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 11.

The Grand Marlin

The Grand Marlin will be offering a Mother’s Day Brunch feature from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a dinner feature from 4-9 p.m. Reservations are recommended. Specials include:

  • Lobster quiche: Maine lobster, asparagus, roasted corn, tomatoes, spinach, herb beurre blanc and mixed field greens.

  • Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass: Goat cheese polenta cake, grilled zucchini, caramelized shallot and caper relish, lemon butter and basil oil.

George Bistro + Bar

George Bistro will be open regular hours on Mother's Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brunch and 4:30-9 p.m. for dinner. If you're looking for a more laid-back experience, try opting in for Saturday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fish House

The Fish House will be serving Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3 p.m. In addition to the standard menus will be two features crafted by Chef Jason Hughes.

  • Lobster quiche: Lobster quiche featuring Maine lobster, Gruyère and brie cheeses, caramelized shallots, exotic mushrooms, garlic confit, fresh basil and silky eggs baked in a flaky hand-made crust, served with a mixed greens salad with herb-balsamic vinaigrette.

Five Sisters Blues Café

Five Sisters will be offering their traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with traditional items along with a few specials from chef Josh Rich. Specials include:

Bar515 will be open special hours for Mother’s Day from noon to 8 p.m. with food and cocktails specials, such as a Watermelon Mamajito and a Crab Cake Benny.

Pensacola Smokehouse

232 E. Main St.

Pensacola Smokehouse will feature a lightly smoked chicken salad on a Hawaiian bun or over greens, paired with a Mama’s Pink Cadillac. The Smokehouse will be open normal hours from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pensacola Smokehouse also has something special for the moms who don’t want to cook but still want to eat at home: a family meal pack fit to feed four people starting at $35. Each meal includes one pound of meat, two sides (one quart each), bread and sauce.

South Market

905 E. Gregory St.

South Market will be featuring a special bourbon berry stuffed French toast, a smoked salmon benedict and petit filet for brunch. For dinner, South Market will feature a Cajun chicken pasta and petit filet with a side salad and a baked potato. The drink pairing will feature frozen sangrias.

Calvert’s in the Heights

Calvert’s will be offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet including cold features, breakfast features, entrees and desserts. The meal will be $55 per adults and $25 per child.

  • Cold features: Cheese and berry display, berry and walnut salad bar, log and bagels with dill shmear.

  • Breakfast: Belgian waffle with maple syrup, fresh basked assorted scones, mini quiche variety, scrambled eggs with cheese, hardwood smoked bacon and breakfast sausage, home fry hash with roasted peppers and onions.

  • Entrees: Shrimp and gouda grits, prime rib and pork loin carving station with dinner rolls, grilled chicken thighs, garlic green beans, honey glazed carrots, mashed potato bar.

  • Desserts: Cakes, pies and petites surprises.

DRIFT

41 Fort Pickens Road

DRIFT is offering a Mother's Day Experience from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a regular dinner service available from 4-9 p.m. All mothers will receive their first mimosa for free.

There are three seating arrangements for the Mother's Day Experience, the first one from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., another from 12 to 1 p.m. and another from 1 to 2 p.m. Childrens tickets must be purchased at the time of adult tickets to ensure accurate seating and capacity. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Adults are $50 each and children 12 and under are $25 each.

What's included in the Mother's Day Experience:

  • Salad and bread bar: Berry salad with champagne vinaigrette, classic Caesar salad and assortment of Artisan breads and rolls.

  • Main course; (choice of one): Oven roasted ham with sauteed green beans and sweet potato casserole, and oven-roasted prime rib served with classic mashed potatoes and honey jalapeno glazed carrots.

  • Dessert: Passionfruit infused flan topped with fresh berries.

Limited menu (offered a la carte)

  • Supreme salmon avocado toast: Sourdough served open-faced with homemade avocado spread, smoked salmon, halved soft boiled eggs, pickled onions and toasted pumpkin seeds with homemade crispy onion chili oil.

  • Drift's stuffed chicken breast: Stuffed with cheese and spices, bok choy hearts, shiitake mushrooms, Japanese black rice, black truffle reduction. ($38)

  • Coconut citrus seabass: Coconut citrus cream, New Orleans style, sweet potato disc, sweet potato tumbleweed and lemon wedge.

  • 8-ounce center cut filet mignon: Yukon gold mash, asparagus, cabernet demi glaze.

  • Chicken and waffles: Breaded in Cap'n Crunch cereal and dusted with powdered sugar served with maple bourbon syrup.

  • Sorrel snapper: Snapper cooked with a crispy skin, sorrel caper French cream sauce, spinach, blistered potatoes and tomatoes and parmesan.

  • Squid ink seafood pasta: Black squid ink fettuccine, mussels, scallops, jump shrimp deglazed in white wine, cream, crispy onion chili oil and lemon.
