Helmut Lang Releases a Leather Bag That Looks Like a Bra for $635

Every now and then we receive a wonderful gift that we never knew we needed. This week, the team at Helmut Lang provided us with such a gift when they released a leather bag shaped like a bra. Yes, we can now openly carry around a bra in public...at a cost, of course.

Helmut Lang's Black Leather Bra Bag is on sale now for $635 and it comes equipped with two cup-like storage sections, thick round handles that double as adjustable bra straps, and a silver buckle to clasp the back. Multiple zippers and clasps are placed throughout the bag that allows it to function as a traditional hand-held bag as well as an atypical body harness.

The bra-bag was first spotted a few months ago on the runway at Helmut Lang's Spring/Summer 2018 RTW show where models walked down the runway with the bags stretched across their chests in lieu of traditional bras. It was one of the centerpieces of the debut collection of new Creative Director, Shayne Oliver.

By introducing this bag, Helmut Lang has finally formalized the function of using bras for storage. The keys, lipsticks, and cash often found struggling to stay in traditional bras can now be safely stored in a stylish and convenient way. This is one bra you may never one to take off.
