Anthony Ramos, who starred as Usnavi in the film adaptation of In The Heights, as well as a 2012 production of the musical, faced a major cheating scandal in 2021.

The allegations claimed that Ramos was seen getting very intimate with a woman who was not his fiancée, Jasmine Cephas Jones. The two announced their split in November of that year, but they never publicly addressed the cheating rumors.

Now, it appears that the actor is finally facing the rumors in a new song. Ramos released a sneak peek of the song, called "Villano," on TikTok, and fans had a lot to say about it.

In the short clip of the new song, the lyrics read, "So I left you with a rock on your hand and I ran with my demons/Hay tantas cosas between us that were unsaid/So you kept the truth about me locked up in your head." "Hay tantas cosas" translates to "there are many things."

The exact meaning behind the song and its lyrics are unclear, but it seems like Ramos is referring to his relationship with Jones, whom he was with for six years.

Many people in the comments drew comparisons between this situation and that of Alexander Hamilton, his wife, Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, and his mistress, Maria Reynolds, referring to the song in the musical Hamilton that talks about it, "The Reynolds Pamphlet."

Both Ramos and Jones were in Hamilton, with Ramos originating the dual role of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton, while Jones originated the dual role of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds.

One TikTok user wrote, "This is my Reynolds pamphlet," while another said, "✨the Ramos pamphlet✨."

"Maybe it should stay unsaid 😭," said another.

Many more voiced support for Jones, with comments like, "leave her alone 😭😭," and "If Anthony wants to make his own Ramos Pamphlet then I want Jazzy to make her own Burn 🔥."

As of right now, Ramos hasn't shared any further details about the song's release date or other new music.
