Heidi Klum wows in XL ruffled dress alongside daughter Leni in corsage crochet
ICYMI, all our fave celebs are in the South of France right now for the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. We're talking Demi Moore, Anya Taylor-Joy, Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Eva Longoria, Bella Hadid and of course Heidi Klum.
The German supermodel has already made headlines with her princess-worthy giant ballgown that coordinated perfectly with the red carpet in this season's hottest hue, a deep scarlet red. But even off-duty, she caught our attention in a gold crochet bikini to soak up the French Riviera sun.
Well, another evening in Cannes means another star-studded event and a stand-out outfit to match. For the amfAR Gala held last night [Thursday 23 May] Heidi wowed in a one-shoulder nude mini dress with a floor-sweeping train constructed entirely out of oversized tulle ruffles. She looks like a giant walking loofah – in the best possible way, obvs.
She completed the look with peach satin heels and equally large statement jewelled earrings. Heidi was joined at the event by her daughter, Leni Klum, who opted for a totally different style of ensemble.
The 20-year-old took on naked dressing in a very see-through black crotchet dress that was embellished with 3D florals to tap into the corsage trend. The flower adornments were strategically placed over Leni's bust as well as dotted around her hips and upper thighs. Fingerless opera gloves in the same fabric added a more formal vibe to the dress that could easily double as a beach cover-up with crochet a huge spring summer fashion trend this season.
For the amfAR after party, the mother-daughter duo both opted for an outfit change with Heidi and Leni matching in feathered frocks. Heidi's midi dress was covered in white feathers and she added a white longline blazer over the top, while Leni oped for a strapless pink feathered mini.
Cannes is spoiling us with so many good looks, and four of them are coming from Heidi and Leni.
