Heidi Klum Teases She Hit 'Rough Patch' While Designing Her Epic Halloween Costume

Heidi Klum's planning for her Halloween costume this year has hit a snag. The supermodel revealed that she is having a little trouble making it all work, even joking that she might "have to call in sick that day."

Speaking to People about the process of designing her costume so far, Klum said, "I have had a really hard time. Things were going wrong, things were not working out."

She even jested that she might have her own "Emperor Has No Clothes" moment.

Klum gave no hints about what sort of costume she's preparing for her annual Halloween party, but she said of the challenges so far, "I was like, maybe I just don't come at all and you pretend I'm there because I was already like, 'Oh my God, this is not working out.'"

She added that she has "no plan B," adding, "So it's been a rough patch."

Luckily, it sounds like things eventually got back on track, as Klum appeared confident that her current costume idea would be successful. She told the publication, "Now I'm positive again. It's going to work."

Fans of the supermodel's legendary Halloween looks will simply have to wait and see what she dresses up as when Oct. 31 rolls around.

Klum also shared that her husband, Tom Kaulitz, will be dressing up as well, but it's unclear if his costume will be directly connected to hers or separate.

"Yes, he's going to dress up now," said Klum. "It is a little bit mandatory in my family."

Last year, Klum stunned everyone with her supremely realistic giant worm, while Kaulitz was a gruesome fisherman. Some celebrities who were in attendance were Ice-T and Coco Austin, Julia Fox, and Kim Petras, among others.
