Heidi Klum Just Doubled Down On Her Willingness to Consider Baby No. 5: ‘It Depends What Day It Is’

Heidi Klum appeared on the Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday and played a surprising game of Ja or Ne, meaning “Yes” or “No” in the German supermodel’s native tongue. After being asked if she would jump out of an airplane (“Ne! Ne! Ne! Ne!”), if she would ski naked (“Probably ‘ja,’ why not?), and if she would pose with a live spider (“Oh, ‘ya.’ And I have.”), Jennifer Hudson asked Klum a question that didn’t have such a straightforward answer:

“Would you have another baby?” the TV host asked.

“Oh, some days it’s ‘ne, ja, ne, ja, ne, ja,'” Klum said, turning around the yes and no paddle she had been holding.

The thought of baby number five then had Klum fanning herself. The 49-year-old is mom to Leni, 18, whom she shares with ex Flavio Viatore and Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Seal.

“I’ve done it four times,” Klum said, motioning the in and out that her stomach had to do. “And I breastfed for eight months each time, and then I was pregnant again.”

“Now I’ve waited a long time, so ‘ja.'”

The answer was met with a round of applause from the audience.

Though Hudson, a mom to one teen, gave a hard pass — “No thank you! I ain’t tryna have no more babies” — she did offer to babysit if baby number five becomes a reality.

This is not the first time Klum has shared her willingness to consider a fifth child. In November, she said she has babies on the brain even though she will turn 50 in June.

“I mean wanting it and it actually being possible are always two different things,” she said. “And things get harder when you get older. But would I want it? Sometimes I think yes.”

The baby would be the first for Klum with her husband Tom Kaulitz, and he or she would arrive while at least two of Klum’s teens are presumably off at college.

In August, Klum shared a touching Instagram post for her daughter Leni when she left for college.

“I was four months pregnant with you safe and sound in my belly. 🤰🏼,” she captioned the post. “Sometimes I wish I could always have you that close, but I know it’s now time for you to go spread your wings and fly. 🦋 Take flight, be safe and shine bright.”

The photo was of a pregnant Klum at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show. And we’ve got to say, we would love to see a pregnant Klum work the runway again.
