Heidi Klum Reveals Epic New 2023 Halloween Costume During Iconic NYC Party

It's no secret that Heidi Klum is the Queen of Halloween. Every year, the 50-year-old model goes all out for the annual holiday, wearing impressive costumes that range from a prosthetic-crafted worm to a green-skinned Fiona from Shrek. The question is: What is her costume for 2023?
Klum teased her costume on social media all day yesterday. She posted a photo of her face covered in prosthetics that resemble a brain. The model revealed that she chose the costume idea back in July, and it took her designers two months to put together.
Klum also shared a side view on her Instagram Story.

We then got a glimpse of the look truly starting to take shape.
She even kissed her husband, Tom Kaulitz, for good measure.

Then finally, the America's Got Talent host revealed her elaborate costume in full at the 22nd Annual Halloween Party in New York. Per usual, she didn't disappoint.

This time, the model stepped out as a giant peacock, but the costume called for some backup. While Klum rocked a velvety blue body suit and mask, she was flanked on both sides by ten Cirque du Soleil performers to flesh out the look, according to The New York Times. The group donned green-and-blue bodysuits with fan-like capes to act as the feathers.
In one snap, Klum channeled her inner cheerleader and posed while being hoisted in the air. Regarding this year's costume choice, she told Today, "I was thinking about what I could be, I wanted to have 20 different people become one."

Meanwhile, her husband, Tom Kaulitz, hit the red carpet in a human-sized egg costume. He told Today, "She always comes up with something first. So this year she said, 'Hey I'm a peacock, so what can you do with a peacock to match?'" (Looks like he totally nailed that challenge.)

Klum started teasing her costume on October 28 when the model shared a naked photo of herself lying on a couch.
“The Calm before the storm,” she captioned the post. “My Motto this Halloween GO BIG OR GO HOME.”
Earlier yesterday, Klum shared another photo on Instagram that fans thought might be a clue. The pic featured a charcuterie board with eyeballs, spiders and other Halloween-themed snacks. The caption included a variety of emojis, including a smiley face, pumpkin, ghost and black heart.
Shortly after, Klum revealed that she would document her “getting ready” process. The caption read, “See you at 2pm ET on @amazonlive—get ready with me for #HeidiHalloween2023.”
This isn’t the first time that Klum has solidified her role as the Queen of Halloween. Last year, the model teased her theme all day long on social media before revealing her epic 2022 Halloween costume: a giant worm.
