When you think of supermodel skin, Heidi Klum is most likely one of the first people to come to mind. The iconic model has maintained gorgeous, radiant skin into her 40s, and her secret isn’t a luxe daily facial or an expensive skincare routine. In fact, her go-to is a moisturizer that costs just $18.

“I use it on my face. It’s very light," Klum tells Today. "When I use very rich creams, I break out in pimples. I’ve been using it for years. It doesn’t clog my pores.”

The moisturizer’s hero ingredient is lactic acid, which improves signs of aging by stimulating collagen renewal and firming your skin. It also attacks hyperpigmentation as well as fades fine lines and wrinkles, all while smoothing and softening your face. Combined with thyme extract to brighten up the complexion and remove dead skin cells, plus allantoin and chamomile for a dose of soothing hydration, this moisturizer leaves the skin looking radiant and youthful.

With hundreds of reviews and an average of 4.4 stars, Amazon shoppers love the moisturizer almost as much as Klum herself. One reviewer says that after trying prescription medications, nothing helped to minimize their rosacea until they tried this. “I am 58 years old and have been suffering from rosacea since high school,” they write. “Started using Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturizer twice a day about 8 months ago and my rosacea is just about gone.”

Another says it’s the only thing that keeps her out of the vicious acne cycle. “I have sensitive skin so most acne or treatment products do more harm than good, I have tried so many moisturizers which make my skin feel nice and start to soothe the dry blemishes that I have but then my pores get clogged and I get pimples. It's a never-ending cycle. I was at my wits end, so I decided to try Mario Badescu's line,” the shopper writes. “After day one my skin looked a little better, but the moisturizer I was worried about because normally applying moisturizer once a day will make me break out, but I've been applying this 2-3 times a day and my skin is looking so much better a week after use.”
