On The Heels of Louis Vuitton x Barneys, Barneys New York Launches Beauty Collection
The fashion world was in mourning when Barneys New York shuttered in early 2020. In late 2022, however, things started to turn when Louis Vuitton took over the department store space as part of a traveling exhibition “200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition.” With it also came the temporary resurrection of Fred’s at Barneys.
While the pop up has now wrapped there’s something equally exciting – and permanent. Barneys New York Beauty is here and launching with a line of personal care products available both online and at Saks.
Just in time for the dry winter months their star products include a hand wash and hand cream, and body care products like body wash and body lotion. The new products, inspired by nature, were jointly developed with some of the world’s leading fragrance makers and use vegan ingredients.
Three scents are available:
BETTER THAN EVER (floral citrus)
ATTRACT ALL THINGS (aromatic green)
MYSTERY FOR EVERYDAY (floral woody)
The line includes the following:

Sentiage Hand Wash, $40
Sentiage Body Wash (300ml), $48
We can expect more launches in the coming months for this clean, fresh line that, personally from what I’ve seen, reminds me of Byredo both in scents and aesthetics.
