Heavens to Betsy! Chick-fil-A Is Launching Meal Kits
Chicken parm. Chicken flatbread. Chicken enchiladas. How do any of those sound for dinner? Pretty darn good, if you ask us — and if you ask Chick-fil-A.

Today, the Atlanta-based company announced the introduction of Mealtime Kits, which will debut at 150 restaurants in the Atlanta area starting on August 27th. Interestingly, the chain is the first in the quick service industry to create this offering, and customer feedback will help them determine whether or not to expand the kits nationwide.
“We know our guests are busier than ever and need a variety of convenient dinner options. We’re excited to offer Mealtime Kits as a new way for us to serve our guests by providing fresh ingredients to enjoy a delicious meal at home,” said Michael Patrick, an innovation program lead at the company who is spearheading the Mealtime Kits project. “We designed our offering so our guests don’t have to order ahead, subscribe to a service, or make an extra stop at the grocery store. They simply pick up a Mealtime Kit at one of our restaurants at their convenience – for example, when they’re already at a Chick-fil-A restaurant grabbing breakfast or lunch, or in the drive-thru on their way home.”
The meal kits include pre-measured ingredients and recipes for five different chicken dishes: Chicken parmesan, chicken enchiladas, Dijon chicken, Pan-roasted chicken, and chicken flatbread. (Lamentably, they won't be offering a meal kit revealing the coveted recipe for their original chicken sandwich.) Each kit includes enough food for two people and retails for $15.89.
