These heartwarming marathon proposals are absolutely everything
In case you haven’t heard, creative marriage proposals are a major thing. And this past weekend Jill Gleason and her now-fiancé Mike took part in one adorable enough, during the TCS NYC New York City Marathon, to warm your heart.
Gleason shared a photo on Instagram in which she’s running alongside her soon-to-be-husband, showing off her ring and a big smile.
“Mike proposed at the start line, followed by 26.2 miles together. The best day,” her caption read. It drew a flow of encouraging comments. One person wrote, “So so so excited for you two! Sneaky mike enjoy this fun time! Love you!” Another chimed in with, “this was funny bc I was tracking you too and I noticed one of the miles was a 16:00 mile and I thought, maybe he just proposed!! I was really hoping. This is awesome!!”
