Headwaters Music and Arts to host 'Nature's Canvas' adult art camp

May 24—BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts

will host a "Nature's Canvas" adult art camp, a five-day immersive experience designed for individuals aged 16 and above.

There will be a maximum of 15 participants. The class will explore the intersection of art and nature from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from June 10-14.

Over the course of the camp, attendees will learn to craft their own nature journals, quill pens, inks, dream catchers, baskets and Earth art mobiles. The camp's projects are to help participants develop artistic skills and introduce them to sustainable art practices.

Locations such as Movil Maze, Paul Bunyan Park and Diamond Point Park will be seen during nature walks to inspire artists. Participants will connect with like-minded individuals, share their creations and leave with a deeper appreciation for nature and art.

The cost to attend is $140 and includes a $40 non-refundable deposit per person. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Register online at
