The Nevers star Amy Manson (who plays Maladie) is opening up about the possibility of a season two renewal.

The 35-year-old actress recently sat down for an exclusive interview with PureWow, where she discussed the all-new sci-fi series. Although HBO hasn’t officially renewed The Nevers for season two, Manson revealed that she’s 100 percent on board.

“Yes, come on,” she told PureWow. “How could I say no?”

Manson also confirmed that there’s far more story to tell, adding, “I think given a few story lines or potential story lines from Philippa Goslett (the showrunner), Maladie’s going to surprise you. I think as an audience, you’re going to go, ‘Where is she going to pop up next?’ Or ‘What’s going to happen with her?’”

While discussing the potential season two story line, Manson showed interest in teaming up with Touched. “What I would really like is for her to join forces with Touched, with Amalia True [Laura Donnelly],” she said. “I don’t know how she would vibrate on her normalcy, but I think joining forces would be great. And obviously seeking revenge on Dr. Hague [Denis O’Hare]. I mean, that guy has to go.”

Part One of The Nevers season one premiered on HBO and HBO Max earlier this month and is dropping episodes weekly, which is why there are only two episodes to stream. (The Part One finale airs on Sunday, May 16.) The series follows a group of Victorian women who are determined to change the world using their unusual abilities.
