Meet Chad, Faith and Garrett: Three absurdly good-looking people just trying to find love before the holidays (on a reality show, obviously). But HBO Max's newest series, 12 Dates of Christmas, is no ordinary dating show. It combines the magic of Christmas with the drama of a well-lit confessional. Think Bachelor in Paradise meets a cheesy Hallmark movie—just with ten times the twinkly lights.
To find their perfect match, our three lucky leads (all with different sexual preferences) head off to a beautiful castle set in a nondescript winter wonderland that's "stuffed with Christmas surprises," where reindeer roam free and "romance is jingling." Here, they'll meet a plethora of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes vying for their hearts. In between the insults, tears and hot tub make-outs, true connections are bound to be made as Chad, Faith and Garrett choose the one person they want to take home for the holidays. And if the hometowns go well, could a New Year's Eve proposal be next? Merrily ever after, indeed.
