Now that Clifford's daughter is transitioning to the toddler bed configuration, she’ll be right at ground level—a way shorter distance for crawling out of bed. And the lockable wheels have also come in handy. "Casters mean I can rearrange her room easily as we, say, bring in a small desk in lieu of her changing table," Clifford explains.

"I think we knocked out assembly in an hour or so, even with a toddler trying to grab tools and 'help.'" Clifford says.
