The music video for Taylor Swift’s brand-new single “You Need to Calm Down” is almost here, and it’s going to have a star-studded cast.
The singer-songwriter took to Twitter on Sunday, June 16, to share a list of celebrities who will appear in the video. “Asked a few friends to be in the 'You Need To Calm Down' video,” Taylor wrote in the caption, adding that the video would be out tomorrow (Monday, June 17) at 8:15 am ET.
After brief footage of a blender whirring, the video flashes through more than two-dozen names in rapid succession, all surrounded by the bright colors we’ve seen throughout Taylor’s latest Instagram aesthetic. The two celebs did just make peace after a five-year feud, though Taylor has been vocal about one specific rumor regarding Katy and her new video being “absolutely false.” Nevertheless, a cameo from Katy would be Internet-breaking, given the drama that's festered for nearly half a decade. Other fans are hopeful they'll see Selena Gomez, considering she and Taylor have had a lifelong, sisterly friendship. The possibilities are seemingly endless!
