Havaianas and Maison Kitsuné Join Forces to Deliver 2000s-Inspired Flip-Flop Collection

Havaianas and Maison Kitsuné have collaborated on a new Y2K-inspired collection. The Brazilian sandal brand and the Franco-Japanese fashion house launched flip-flop styles inspired by the early oughts, described as “2000s meets Hollister-era energy.”

The capsule features four different flip-flop designs, all ideal for summertime. Two of the designs feature a beach background, decorated by palm trees, while the other two offer more of a simple look as they are made up of bold colors and Maison Kitsuné written across the sandals with sun and beach waves design.

Each Havaianas and Maison Kitsuné flip flop retails at $50. The new collection is available for purchase starting April 17 via the Havaianas and the Maison Kitsuné official websites as well as Havaianas and Maison Kitsuné boutique stores and selected retail stores.
Havaianas was founded in Brazil in 1962 and has sold over 5 billion flip-flops since then. Meanwhile, Maison Kitsuné was created in 2002 by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. With its Paris-meets-Tokyo fashion concept, Maison Kitsuné offers a mix of cultures.
