If you tell me you didn't laugh once while watching last week's episode of Resident Alien, I won't believe you. And I double dog dare you not to laugh this week. I can't even imagine being on set during some of this week's scenes and trying not to burst out laughing before the director says, "Cut!" What happened on last week's episode of Resident Alien?

Last week's episode, "Avian Flu," found Harry (Alan Tudyk) feeling a myriad of emotions after being served an eviction notice by the Blue Avian process server, Heather (Edi Patterson). After some Fruit Ninja antics by D'Arcy (Alice Wetterlund), Heather is stuck on Earth waiting for repairs on her transport portal. Harry, who has been a longtime admirer of Blue Avians, gets distracted from his mission to stop the Greys and save the Earth. Meanwhile The Sheriff (Corey Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) make a breakthrough in the investigation. D'Arcy bumps into Elliot (Justin Rain) but discovers he has a new girlfriend.

What is this episode of Resident Alien about?

In "Lovebird," Harry is in bliss after he and Heather become a couple. The two are on full display much to Asta's (Sara Tomko) chagrin, who wishes Harry would remain focused on the task at hand. She and D;Arcy take drastic measures to do so. Joseph (Enver Gjokaj) returns with task from thr Greys. Even in his post-coital haze, Harry manages to get closer to finding out what the Greys are planning.

Kate (Meredith Garrettson) questions whether or not she has been abducted by aliens while Max (Judah Prehn) scrambles for a last-minute entry for the school's science fair.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv try to make heads or tails of the book they found in Peter Bach's (Terry O'Quinn) van as General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) works with David (Alex Barima) to weaponize Peter who survived the riot down in the military bunker.

Who plays the Blue Avian, Heather?

Edi Patterson plays Heather the Blue Avian on Resident Alien. Patterson is a member of the Groundlings where she frequently performs improv and sketch comedy shows. She has appeared on The Righteous Gemstones, Knives Out, and Kung Fu and has voiced characters on The Great North, Adventuretime, and The Simpsons.
