Harry Styles’s Solo Look Includes Short Hair and Black Nail Polish

Harry Styles is all grown up. Not only did he shed his actual boy band, but also he’s slowly shedding every semblance of his One Direction look. First it was the long hair (RIP), and now it’s the casual clothes.

Styles stepped out on Thursday night for the Another Man A/W launch, which he hosted, officially debuting his shorter ’do. For those who were in denial, you can no longer ignore the facts: The proof is in the photos.

This was his first official appearance in months, and while we were happy to see him, it was a bit of a shock.

His slicked-back coif kept his wavy locks off his face, making him almost unrecognizable. But what sealed the deal that this is Styles 2.0 was the tuxedo, a style he is not known for. The teen heartthrob (can we still call him that?!), who appears on three separate covers for the 23rd issue of Another Man, looked so dapper in a smart tux by Dior Homme.

He also wore multiple silver rings and painted his nails black. So there’s that.

Don’t fret: Styles isn’t all gone. There were a few signs of the boy we grew to know and love, like the loose black tie he wore under his shirt instead of on top (he’s such a rebel), the white shirt buttoned up only halfway revealing his chest, his signature black nail polish, and a set of chunky rings.

We are officially getting a glimpse of what he’s going to look like when he’s a grownup, and we have to say, we’re kind of loving the mature Styles style.
