Harry Styles Is ‘Looking at Rings’ For His GF After Less Than a Year of Dating

Although they’ve been dating for less than a year, sources are already dishing about Harry Styles and Taylor Russell’s engagement plans. The “Watermelon Sugar” singer is reportedly getting a head start on planning his proposal to the Canadian actress.

“He’s even looking at rings,” a source told Life & Style on March 1, 2024. The insider went on to add, “He really is devoted to her, so much that he’s ready to take this to the next level.” The source’s comments come about eight months after the singer and actress were linked for the first time. In June 2023, TikTok user @ellahodgkinson shared photos of the “Adore You” singer and the Bones and All actress out on a casual date in London. Since then, the pair have been spotted together on numerous occasions: over the summer of 2023, Taylor supported Harry at some of his tour dates in Austria and Italy, and he went on to attend one of her plays, The Effect, in London weeks later. By September, the pair had been photographed on vacation together, holding hands on strolls in the UK, and attending a concert together in Las Vegas.

Clearly, they can’t get enough of each other. “They’re together every minute of their spare time,” the source shared with Life & Style. “Harry is genuinely impressed by Taylor; she’s talented and yet down-to-earth and unassuming. She’s very independent, which keeps him more interested,” the insider added.

The source went on to note that Harry “has always seemed to have one foot out of his relationships,” but things are different with Taylor, explaining that he’s “all in” with her. Part of the reason, according to insider, has to do with him reevaluating his plans for the future. “He just turned 30 and he’s thinking about starting a family,” the source shared. “Getting married is on his mind a lot these days, and Taylor’s everything he could want in a partner.”

While neither Harry or Taylor have publicly addressed their relationship, the Lost in Space actress did open up about her thoughts on love and relationships during an interview with The Face, which was published not long after fans first spotted her and Harry together. She described the feeling of love as being “like a drug,” telling the magazine, “Being with the person all the time, you’d do anything for them. You’re like, ​‘I wanna have all of this stuff with you and I wanna do everything with you.’”

“I have my distinct loves of my life and so I can remember the feelings of them pretty specifically and intensely. When I think about them, and being in love, it definitely feels like a drug,” she added. She also went on to reveal what made her feel the most loved: “being checked in on,” noting, “it’s underrated, I think.”

“I’m never going to be volunteering all of my feelings,” she admitted. “I’m somebody who, annoyingly, complicatedly, needs things to be asked and pulled from me to talk about it. But even then I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, is this too much? Is this too much?’ So I need a partner who is going to do that or else it’s never going to work.” Hopefully, Harry’s that guy!
