Harry Styles Had to Cancel His Miami Show Because of Bad Weather

“I'm so disappointed, and I'm sorry.”

Unfortunately for any Harry Styles fans who were hoping to see their fave hit the stage in Miami, the musician had to cancel his pre-Super Bowl appearance on January 31 because of severe weather.

According to CNN, the Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar show, which was also set to feature appearances by Harry's recent duet partner Lizzo along with Mark Ronson, was officially canceled by the Miami Fire Department.

Harry took to Twitter to share his disappointment with fans and concertgoers. "To those of you here in Miami, I was told there’s a severe storm on the way," he wrote. "The fire department would not let us do the show under any circumstances. Please stay safe. I’m so disappointed, and I’m sorry." Pepsi, who sponsored the show, tweeted that concertgoers would receive refunds for tickets and rideshare services.

Fans were quick to assure Harry that it was the right thing to do, and that his safety was most important. They were also happy to wish the singer a happy birthday; he turned 26 on February 1.

"It’s okay, Harry! Safety comes first for you, and your crew, and of course all the fans. Thank you for coming to Miami and happy birthday ❤️ Hope you stay safe and warm! We love you," wrote one fan account. "I’m so sorry this didn’t work out. Especially for your birthday!!! We wanted to see you happy on stage. Stay safe. I hope those fans stay safe as well:(!" another fan wrote. "DONT LET THIS RUIN YOUR BIRTHDAY DEAR GOD THATS ALL I WANT," tweeted yet another.

Harry has already had a busy — and newsworthy — birthday weekend. A day prior, Harry basically broke the internet when he joined Lizzo onstage to perform her song "Juice." While another Harry and Lizzo duet may be on hold due to the weather, it looked like the two enjoyed their time together so much that we won't be at all surprised if they team up again in the future, or if we see them sitting together at the Super Bowl.

CNN reports that severe weather should dissipate by Sunday for the game.
