If you've ever wanted to experience life at Hogwarts with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as your BFFs, clear your phone memory, because the new mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is available for pre-registry in the Google Play store on Wednesday — and a cool new teaser just dropped to celebrate.

The first trailer for the game came out in January, but the latest reveals vital new details. A few of the most exciting developments? Players will receive their Hogwarts letter via owl, be sorted by the infamous Sorting Hat, taught by fan favorites like Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape, and generally discover the many hidden secrets and adventures that the magical world has to offer.

According to a press release, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery "is the first mobile game where players can create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student. In the narrative adventure with RPG elements, players will create a personalized student avatar, attend classes, learn magical skills, and form friendships or rivalries with other students." Anyone who signs up will be able to learn how to make Polyjuice potion and cast spells with the best of them. Sign us up immediately.

2018 is going to be a big year for the Harry Potter fandom — the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes out at the end of the year. While fans wait for the magic to arrive in the app store, there's always HP-themed apparel, kitchenware, and bedroom decor to buy.

The game is set to be released in the Apple App Store and on Google Play some time this spring. Hopefully the augmented reality Harry Potter mobile game — the HP universe's answer to Pokémon Go — drops at the same time.
