‘Harry Potter’ Fans Say Emma Watson Is Gorgeous in a Sheer Lace Backless Dress

With more than two decades of acting under her belt, Emma Watson perfected the art of a standout performance onscreen. But off-camera, she also knows how to make a statement, thanks to her individualistic approach to fashion.
The Harry Potter star dressed up for a good cause when she attended the Kering Foundation's Care for Women dinner in September 2022. Making an appearance as one of the organization's Board of Directors, Emma positively glowed in a lacy white Alexander McQueen gown. The dress material had sheer floral detailing all over, spanning from the high-cut neckline down to the scalloped hem on the floor. The garment also had six structured slits placed throughout the top, adding a bit of whimsy to the design.
But the true masterpiece of the outfit was the backless cutout, giving a touch of modernity to the actor's classic red carpet moment. Since The Perks of Being a Wallflower alum's gala ensemble was as timeless as she is, Emma kept the ideal going with minimalistic touches through her accessories.
Since the color of Emma's formal attire was white, she added contrasting pieces with black heeled sandals and a black clutch adorned with mixed metal spikes. For jewelry, she wore silver bangles and chain earrings. She parted her dark hair down the side and styled it into a chic low bun. Meanwhile, her makeup looked fresh with simple black eyeliner and rosy-toned lips and cheeks.
Although the Beauty and the Beast actor didn't post any photos from the event on social media, a clip of her arriving did eventually land on YouTube. When folks caught a glimpse of Emma's unique approach to formal wear, they had nothing but kind words for her.
