"Harry Potter" Cast Had the Best Holiday Reunion
As past reunions have demonstrated, the Harry Potter cast definitely loves each other. And isn’t the holiday season the perfect time to cozy up with loved ones?
This week, Draco Malfoy (err, Tom Felton) shared an Instagram post from London confirming a perfectly Potter holiday reunion. In the post’s two photos (a smiling shot and a candid! What a gift!) he stands shoulder to shoulder with some of our very favorites: Evanna Lynch, Emma Watson, Bonnie Wright and Matthew Lewis (or L, H, G, and N as their sweaters knit by Mrs. Weasley would say).
“Seasons greetings from my school mates. @mattdavelewis & I mid debate x #grifindorVSslytherin,” he wrote, referring to the intriguing conversation captured in the second photo. Confirming that the group really is family (regardless of house loyalty), Emma Watson posted the same photo with the caption, “Merry Christmas from us ☺️.” Us!
The holidays at Hogwarts have always been a special time, and though it doesn't look like they met in a castle, wherever a meeting of these old classmates takes place has to be just as magical. Do we think they sang the fitting Christmas at Hogwarts carol? With musical accompaniment by Tom?
Or maybe they had a gift exchange! A copy of Little Women from Emma, perhaps? It’s a perfectly fitting gift as the movie adaptation she stars in will be released next week, and she’s already been sneaking copies around London.
“That waxwork of me is very effective,” commented Matthew Lewis on Emma’s post. A joke, obviously, as the cast is for real giving us everything we wished for this year. Well, almost everything. Before it’s too late: can we please add the addition of Ron and Harry to our lists?
