HARRY POTTER 4K Box Set Arrives in Replica Hogwarts Express

Believe it or not, after 20 years there are better ways to watch the Harry Potter movies than randomly catching them on basic cable. Those marathons always skip Order of the Phoenix. And they also have way too many commercial breaks. Instead, can pop in your old DVDs or Blu-rays when you want. Or you can wait for the franchise’s next home release. The all-new Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Anniversary 8-Film Collector’s Edition will give Muggle fans 4K versions of the movies delivered inside a beautiful Hogwarts Express package.

Harry Potter enthusiasts can now pre-order the franchise’s latest collection from Amazon. The 17-disc Ultra-HD and Blu-ray set (which we first heard about at IGN) features all eight movies. It also comes with bonus extras. That includes a replica Hogwarts Express Ticket—like the one Hagrid gave Harry. The box set also has a 32-page anniversary booklet. It’s “filled with photos, props, production notes and artwork from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” And there’s a “The Harry Potter Magical Movie Mode.” Viewers can use it to “discover filmmaking secrets, spell incantations, magical creatures and artifacts, and more.” You’ll also be able to “test your knowledge” with the Hogwarts Trivia Challenge.”

The real star of the set though is the box it comes in. It all comes in a collectible Hogwarts Express Train Packaging. Made of heavy paper board, the highly-detailed box will serve as terrific shelf display when you’re not watching the movies.

The big set comes with a big price. (Though not as much as we would have predicted.) You can get yours for $139.99. It arrives later this year on November 2.

That Hogwarts Express package is pretty incredible. All it’s missing is a sweet old lady selling magical candy. But the best thing about this set is that it means no commercials. And no skipping over one of the best films in the franchise. However, if you want to skip Goblet of Fire we understand.
