So...Harry and Francesca From ‘Too Hot to Handle’ Just Got Engaged on Zoom

From Cosmopolitan

If you’re one of the millions of suckers who tuned into Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle in the last few weeks to watch horny singles avoid hooking up, you probably also became obsessed with Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago, one of two couples to make it through the finale and leave in a relationship. The two of them went public with their coupledom after the show dropped, and they allegedly just got engaged during the show’s reunion special. We’re here to investigate whether or not that’s real.

So what exactly happened on the reunion?

While filming the special, Harry “proposed” to Francesca over Zoom. I put proposed in quotation marks here because it seems highly suspect that two people would get engaged during quarantine over Zoom with a literal Ring Pop, especially when they’ve only been back together for, like, four months.

Wait, what?

Yeah, okay, so the two of them had stated in previous interviews that while they are currently together, they had broken up temporarily after they left the show because they had some stuff to figure out. They didn’t mention how long the breakup was, but on the reunion, they mentioned it was eight months long. Eight! They only filmed the show a year ago, so that means that at most, the two of them have been together for like...four months. I’m not saying two people who met on a reality show couldn’t also get engaged after dating for four months, I’m just saying it’s suspicious.

The other weird thing...

There’s something else that makes me skeptical about this “engagement” news, and it’s that, in an interview with Cosmopolitan on April 17, Harry joked that they were already engaged. Francesca was quick to correct him and say they weren’t actually engaged, but it does seem like Harry likes to joke about this topic in particular. And doesn’t a Ring Pop proposal over Zoom seem like the perfect extension of that running joke? All I’m saying.
