Hardee’s Thanksgiving In A Box Comes With Stuffing-Coated Chicken Tenders And Sweet Potato Waffle Fries
If you're stuck on what to serve for Thanksgiving dinner this year you may be dreaming up things like turkey, cornish hens, or short ribs, but may I present one more counter option? Chicken tenders. Interested? Well, Hardee's has you covered because the chain is now testing out a Thanksgiving In A Box meal, which includes things like Stuffing Chicken Tenders and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries.
The Thanksgiving box is full of fried foods inspired by everyone fave gluttonous holiday. First up, the aforementioned Stuffing Chicken Tenders. These guys are chicken tenders hand-breaded with sage and herb stuffing breading.
They're packed in a box with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, and a special take on green bean casserole: Toasted Onion Green Beans. That's essentially green beans coated in a toasted onion breading and then fried until they become golden brown. All of that is served with a Savory Chicken Gravy that is meant to be used as a dip for the chicken tenders, but I wanna dunk alllll of that in it.
You can get the meal starting at $6.99. I see this as being perfect for people who want a little taste of Thanksgiving before or after their actual Thanksgiving meal or as a saving grace for those who have been guilty of over-cooking the turkey. Whoops.
If you want to try this special Thanksgiving meal, you'll have to travel to a Hardee's in Jacksonville, FL, where it will be served at participating restaurants from November 13, 2019 through December 3, 2019, while supplies last.
