Happy News: Meredith Grey Might Find Love Again
It looks like romance could still be on the cards for Meredith Grey.
In recent seasons, Ellen Pompeo's Grey's Anatomy character was left heartbroken following husband Derek's shock death, but later found love after sharing a common bond with Nathan Riggs, who had lost his fiancée.

However, after she turned up alive and well, Meredith and Riggs parted ways – but that doesn't mean it's the end of Meredith's love stories by any means.
"What is next for Meredith in terms of a love life remains to be seen," showrunner Krista Vernoff told Entertainment Weekly. "I believe that romance and love are always a possibility, especially after we've lost the loves of our life. We have to evolve out of our immediate grief."
"I believe that immediate grief takes more than a couple of years," Vernoff continued. "I don't want to ever short-shrift the people who have gone through the death of a spouse and say you just move on, or you just move on with the first person... One of the things that I love that we do on the show is show this very human journey."
Nonetheless, Vernoff did say that while "love is possible for Meredith 100%,"it isn't her priority.
