'Happy Days'

Happy Days was an enormously popular sitcom set in the Midwest United States in the 1950s and 1960, starring Ron Howard as Richie Cunningham, the oldest son of the quintessential Americana family.

Howard was joined by costars Henry Winkler, Marion Ross, Scott Baio and Tom Bosley, among others. Most of the stars of the show went on to star in several post-Happy Days projects, with quite a few joining the cast of The Love Boat at the same time.

In an interview on The Graham Norton Show in 2021, Howard admitted that this character Richie fell to the wayside as Winkler's Fonzie grew in popularity. "It was a really interesting kind of paradoxical situation because the show began and the Richie Cunningham character was the undeniable lead of the show," he said.

"When we would go out of the road to promote the show, it was just insane, focused on Fonzie, clearly that was very exciting," Howard added. "Except the executives, studio heads, network heads, you know, they started treating me with a lot of disrespect from a business standpoint [and] in terms of interaction." Howard left the show after seven seasons.

Here is a look at what the cast of Happy Days worked on after the show ended and where they are now.
