Happy Birthday, Chip: Gaines Recreates Steamy Calvin Klein Billboard With Wife Jo

One half of America's favorite renovation duo, Chip Gaines, may have been the one celebrating his birthday yesterday, but his partner-in-crime gave us all one giant gift of our own.

"45 looks good on you," Jo captioned an Instagram post of herself looking longingly into husband Chip's eyes.

The photo was a recreation of a steamy Calvin Klein billboard featuring newlyweds Justin Beiber and Hailey Baldwin, which can be spotted behind the Gaines on the New York City block where they stand. Chip and Jo opted for a more family-friendly take on the risqué jeans ad, donning warm boots and sturdy jackets as cold temperatures kick into high gear on the East Coast.

This is the second year in a row that Jo has hit it out of the park on Chip's birthday, having marked her husband's 44th year with one handsome snap of his signature rugged cowboy vibe. But her five kids gave Jo some real competition this year, and they just may have upstaged mom with their hand-picked birthday presents.

"What do you get a man who has all he ever wanted ... all he ever dreamt of really?" Chip asked as he shared a photo of all five of the adorable gifts. "My kids always know how to look deep into my heart and get me just what I need to make me feel loved and adored on my birthday."

Chip's spread included what appear to be two hand-crafted glass Christmas ornaments of a squirrel and a wild hog, a vintage blue Lyra pencil with a gold sharpener—a handy gift for a master craftsman—and a vintage Ace of Spades playing card—an appropriate gift from Crew, who, Jo recently revealed, is a bit of a card shark in the making (The mom posted a photo of a then six-month-old Crew last December in a playing-card themed onesie as he waged a high-stakes game of poker against three larger-than-life stuffed animals.).

“If a man has a family who knows him and adores him, he has everything," Chip said.

Fixer Upper fans recently received an exciting glimpse into what Chip and Jo may be working on for Magnolia Network, and it seems like the Waco couple drew inspiration from Magnolia Table, Volume 2. Stopping by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last week, the Gaines discussed Jo's new cookbook and what's it been like working on their upcoming TV network, which prompted Fallon to have a brilliant idea: a cooking show.

While Jo didn't 100 percent confirm if a cooking show was in the works, she told Fallon that she'd call him "soon" to discuss the idea, and that gave us all just a little bit of hope for one epic crossover.

U.S. Justice Ginsburg puts temporary hold on Trump financial records dispute

Mark B: Trump has filed an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court. One of the conditions necessary for a court to hear such an appeal is for the appellant to show "irreparable harm" if the motion is not granted. I have yet to hear what irreparable harm Trump would suffer should the subpoenas be upheld and his financial records disclosed. The disclosures would go only to a secret NY grand jury or to the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee (Rep. Richard Neal). In both cases, the law prohibits disclosure beyond those parties. In such a case, there is no irreparable harm that Trump could possibly claim. So, my guess is, he loses both appeals. Of course, the outstanding question remains: what is in Trump's tax returns that he is so incredibly concerned not ever be disclosed?
