You know you’re a #bosslady when your birthday becomes fodder for international news. Today Beyoncé turned the ripe ol’ age of 34, but it might as well been her 40th or 50th with the way the world has reacted. When typed into a search engine, “Beyoncé birthday” yielded over 20 million results in less than 30 seconds.

The tributes to Queen Bee have been rolling in all day. Michelle Obama thanked her for being a role model in a tweet and Gwyneth Paltrow posted the picture above where she is splayed out on a carpet next to GP’s daughter Apple. The Goop maven captioned the pic, “Happy birthday @beyonceWe loooooove you with all our (heart emoji).”

Meanwhile the September Vogue cover star’s family and closest friends collaborated on a playlist together. While Jay Z chose “Yellow” by Coldplay (bringing it back to Paltrow & co) because it “reminds him of going on vacation” with his wife, baby girl Blue Ivy opted for the song that shared her name, “Blue,” from The Little Mermaid. The message attached? “Mommy you sung this to me all the time. Happy Birthday Mommy!” Pretty sweet, right?

All this makes us wonder, what is going to happen when she turns 40?! We bet that party is probably already being planned.
