What Happens When Food Obsession Goes Too Far

“Food is not something you consume, it is something that consumes you.” Those are the first words from chef Jesper Paulsen as he welcomes you to Underfinger, a pop-up that skewers the current food era as well as Bret Easton Ellis’ American Psycho took on New York food in the ‘80s. Peanut butter soup with roast duck anyone?

Sadly you won’t be able to try any of chef Paulsen’s sea bream fishsticks served on Lego. It’s a dish dreamed up for this brilliantly done mockumentary from the folks at the Infatuation and our friend and resident food lyricist Justin Warner. We won’t spoil Underfinger’s whole menu for you, but keep an eye out for a dish that represents how we are all meat.
