What Happened to Rita Wilson’s Glam Team for the Golden Globes?

The 77th Annual Golden Globes started off this year's awards season with a bang. Awkwafina made history as the first Asian-American actor to win a Golden Globe for best actress for her role in The Farewell. Billy Porter worked the red carpet in an all-white custom Alex Vinash piece, which came with a flowing train of feathers. Jennifer Lopez essentially shut down the entire show with her braided-bun updo. But one question of the night remains unanswered: What happened to Rita Wilson's hair and makeup team?

The actor and singer shared with social media that her one-person hair and makeup team was more than an hour and a half late. On both Twitter and Instagram, Wilson revealed that she'd booked her stylist in September, and as of 5 p.m. EST, they had yet to show up, leaving her with only an hour or so to get ready.

While Wilson did not reveal any further details about the night except for a group photo of her family congratulating husband Tom Hanks on his Cecil B. DeMille Award, Twitter couldn't help but beg for updates about the tardy stylist.

In typical Twitter fashion, a few jokes were also made.

Some people even pretended to be the stylist or know the stylist's identity.

Though Twitter hasn't yet found out the identity of the stylist, we are happy to see that Wilson was able to make it to the awards in time to celebrate with her husband. We hope she was able to enjoy the rest of her night despite the initial stress.
