Hannah Brown Speaks Out About How She Really Feels About Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid Dating
The Bachelorette runner-up Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid have gone on two dates in two nights, less than a week after Cameron and Bachelorette Hannah Brown spent the night together at her place on Thursday. Brown, who's doing press after the end of her series (she ended her engagement to the season's winner, Jed Wyatt, after she found out he allegedly hadn't ended his relationship with a woman he was dating before going on the show), was asked straight up about Cameron and Hadid's relationship.
Brown answered honestly. "I have feelings, but I’m also single and he’s single, and I wanna keep my options open, and he can keep his options open," she told Entertainment Tonight. Brown said they spent their date just talking.
"We are trying to figure out how we feel," Brown said. Then she addressed whether he'd become the next Bachelor. "I don’t know where he’s at with wanting to be the Bachelor. I think he has his options open as well, and if the Bachelor is one of those options, then I guess I'll support him if that’s what he wants to do."
Brown herself explained, very understandably, that dating is not her number one focus after her Bachelorette experience. "I am single, and people slide into my DMs if they want to, but I just got out of an engagement and dating 30 men. [Dating] is not really not my sole focus right now. I'm working on Hannah and loving Hannah, and so you know, if that means going to have a drink again with somebody else, then I'm all for it."
Meanwhile, reports have gone around that Cameron's dates with Hadid and Brown have ruined his chances to be the Bachelor. They're not quite true, TMZ reports. Cameron is actually the third choice at this point to be the Bachelor, with Mike Johnson and Peter Weber in "dead even in contention" to get the role.
A well-placed source explained to TMZ that Cameron was lacking the character they want for the bachelor. "You may not believe this, but sincerity is really important," the source said. "The bachelor has to really want to find love, and Tyler doesn't really have his heart in it and the audience can see through it." No decision has been made yet on the role, TMZ reports.
