  • Former Bachelorette Hannah Brown opened up about feeling exploited during her reality TV experience.

  • Reminder: Hannah is currently competing on this season of Dancing with the Stars (and killing it, I might add).

Hannah Brown has completed her transformation into a full-time reality star, and it hasn't been without some ups and downs. Ya girl is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars after completing stints on ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette—and while everyone loves how completely authentic she is, at times she's felt like her emotions have been exploited in the name of TV drama.

"I have producers on all these shows," Hannah wrote in a diary entry for Bustle. "I know they're doing their job, they're trying to tell my story, but I sometimes feel like they're trying to tell a story to make my life into a story that they want. What's hard about this all is it is my life, it is my story."

Hannah also implied that at times she's been "fed" things to say and watched her very real thoughts be turned into soundbites. "I hate being fed things to say," she explained. "There's something to me that feels slimy to see my name and thoughts being given to me as sound bites. Even if they're essentially true, I just feel like it should come from the heart."

She concluded with this zinger: "The past year has made me sensitive to my emotions being exploited and used to tell a story. I'm scared they'll be used in a manufactured way."

Unclear if Hannah's comments are about The Bachelorette, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, or just reality television in general, but either way she's clearly gonna be doing things on her terms henceforth.
