Hannah Brown Reveals Her Pick for the Next Bachelor

Who is the next Bachelor? It’s the question on everyone’s mind following the explosive Season 15 finale of The Bachelorette. While Hannah Brown got engaged to Jed Wyatt in the final episode, the former Miss Alabama USA ended her stint as a single lady after learning that her ex-fiancé was in an arguably serious relationship before coming on the show.

Hannah confirmed that she ended her engagement on the live After the Final Rose special, but her relationship status may not stay that way for long. The Bachelorette reconnected with her runner-up Tyler Cameron (also a fan-favorite and contender for the Bachelor title) for the first time live on television since their breakup, and it was clear Tuesday night that their relationship may not be over.

Now, she must put everything on the line with her final two bachelors to see if she will be with her soul mate at the end of her journey on night two of the two-night, live special season finale event on “The Bachelorette,” TUESDAY, JULY 30 (8:00-10:01p.m. EDT), on ABC. “Our relationship was real to me and special and everything I said I meant… And I still… have feelings,” she said Tuesday on live television. “You’re an incredible guy and I’m a single girl. So I just thought—maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out?”

Though many speculated Tyler C. would become the next Bachelor, his future with Hannah has yet to be determined. When the Bachelorette appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night host addressed the idea that Tyler might not get the coveted role.

“A lot of people would think it might be Tyler [Cameron] but now it can’t be Tyler because you’re going for drinks with him,” he said to Hannah.

“We’ll see where the drinks go,” she said, adding, “It’s so weird picking the Bachelor from my ex-boyfriends.”

The Alabama native went on to reveal which of the men from her Bachelorette season she would like to see as the next Bachelor: “I thought Peter [Weber] was really great. Mike [Johnson]‘s great. I want them to have happiness so maybe it’ll work out better for them than it did for me.”

Both Peter Weber and Mike Johnson established themselves as Bachelorette fan-favorites early in the season, and Chris Harrison previously told People that Mike is a “contender” for the role.

“How could he not be a contender with that smile?” Harrison said. “He’s one of my favorite people we’ve ever had on the show. He’s a love of a man. I don’t know him that well, and I consider him a really good friend.”

As fans continue to speculate, Harrison warned that an announcement likely won’t come until after the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise plays out.

“It would be premature to make the call now, before [Bachelor in Paradise],” he told Entertainment Tonight. “It wouldn’t be smart at all… there’s guys you haven’t seen yet.”

While fans anxiously await the announcement of the next Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise will premiere on ABC on August 5 at 8/9c.
