New Hampshire Rider Claims Winter Is "Almost" Better Than Summer For Mountain Biking

New England is a region known for its amazing summer riding. Unfortunately due to snow, the riding season mostly ends in the winter months.

For most people that is. Watch Jonathan Emery take his fat bike on a winter alpine ride in the White Mountains below.

In this video Emery rides down a windblown trail above treeline on his fat bike.

Fat bikes are a very popular way for riders to get out on the trail in the winter. Usually, however, they stick to groomed trails lower down.

Jon Emery is a YouTube and instagram personality from New Hampshire. He is known for his videos of high alpine riding. As it turns out, the alpine rides in the white mountains go in the winter as well as the summer. Watch him do a slab line in the summer below.

It takes some serious chutzpah to go out into the alpine on a biek in the winter. As you can see, the risk was worth the reward.
