Halsey Secretly Changed Her Outfit After The VMAs Red Carpet

Halsey looked stunning on the red carpet of the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards—and her look only got better later in the night when she changed into an outfit that showcased her insanely toned legs and abs. (Tell me your secrets, girl.)

Her first outfit of the night was a sheer red dress over a black leotard, designed by Peter Dundas. Halsey described the outfit as "kind of naked, kind of classy" during her red carpet interview.

But apparently her first look wasn't quite naked enough, because Halsey reappeared mid-show wearing a short leg- and abs-bearing skirt and crop top combo.

She posed for photos throughout the night with Taylor Swift, and Bella and Gigi Hadid, and danced her way through performances by Missy Elliott, Shawn Mendes, the Jonas Brothers, and more.

While Halsey's been open in the past about her struggles with endometriosis and even her devastating miscarriage, she hasn't talked much about her workout routine. (Although you do know she's a fan of rock climbing naked—or at least she was until she got injured.)

So, um, what else does Halsey do to stay so fit? Well, when Halsey performed in another abs-bearing outfit at the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she told Hollywood Life, "I definitely did a lot of situps."
