Halsey Posted a Pastel Pink Wig Selfie on Instagram

Halsey has changed up her hair again and was apparently inspired by all things pink and royal, even taking a cue from Nicki Minaj.

Just days after sporting a bold bodysuit, the singer surprised fans with another new look, trading in her blonde hair for a playful pink wig. Sharing the new look on Instagram, she posed on a sunny Hawaiian beach and pulled lyrics from Nicki's verse in Kanye West's "Monster" for her Instagram caption.

In a second accompanying photo, Halsey was posed against the blue sea as her backdrop, showing off matching pink accessories and her pale pink bikini. She followed up the series of posts to her 'gram feed with additional peeks of the new hair in her Instagram Stories.

In the first post to her story, Halsey pulled back her hair, topping off the look with a matching hair band and pieces of wispy hair to frame her face. She coordinated the new color with some seriously sparkly eyeshadow and a set of simple silver hoops. In a sticker caption affixed to the story, she declared the appearance was, "100% pink princess."

Halsey later took her outfit from its fun in the sun beginnings to a more formal evening out. An additional post to her stories showed the trendsetter incorporating a dash of floral into the day's attire with the addition of a flower piece to her headband and a ruffled top.

The performer isn't the only one that seems to be thinking pink this year. Zayn Malik debuted hair in a much brighter shade of pink last week, and even Gigi Hadid got in on the colorful fun during New York Fashion Week in February.

If these hairdos have you contemplating a possible pink future there are options that make dying temporary and easy. Those not quite ready to make the rainbow jump may want to consider a fun dip-dye or an ombre inspired do. Just be prepared to spend some time in the salon if you are contemplating a new pink hue.
