Halsey and Moses Sumney To Star in A24 Horror Movie 'MaXXXine'

A24 has revealed the high-octane cast for its forthcoming horror movie, MaXXXine, directed by Ti West.

Led by Mia Goth, the movie is set to star Halsey, Moses Sumney, Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Monaghan, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, Bobby Cannavale, and Kevin Bacon. MaXXXine, which begins production this month in Los Angeles, will mark the third film in West and A24's X horror franchise, following the flagship film and Pearl, both of which were released last year.

The forthcoming thriller will take place followings the events of X, specifically focusing on Goth's Maxine, the singular survivor of the first film's farmhouse murders who strives to become a famous actress in 1980s Los Angeles. According to sources via The Hollywood Reporter, the film will center on the "dangerous world of underground filmmaking."

Esposito will depict an adult film agent; Debicki will play a movie director; Monaghan and Cannavale will act as LAPD detectives, and Bacon will be a private detective, per the outlet. Additional character details are presently being kept under wraps.
