Halsey Will Host and Perform on "Saturday Night Live" in February

Halsey is making her return to the Saturday Night Live stage in February — this time, as host and the musical guest.

On January 26, the NBC series announced Halsey’s upcoming episode, noting that the singer-songwriter would be hosting the show on Saturday, February 9. Halsey also shared the news on social media, including a sneak peek at her special host photo shoot.

Of course, Halsey hasn’t been away from SNL for long; she performed on the November 10 episode along with Lil’ Wayne (and commemorated the occasion by getting a tattoo seconds before taking the stage). Prior to that, Halsey was the show’s musical guest in January 2018.

But taking on SNL double duty is no small feat. Halsey will be joining the ranks of other huge celebs who have done both gigs in one night — like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Drake, Taylor Swift, and, most recently, Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino.

It’ll sure be exciting to see Halsey take on the iconic opening monologue, participate in several sketches, and perform her music. The singer-songwriter has teased that she’s working on her third studio album, so who knows? Maybe we’ll even hear something new — fingers crossed.
